John, the political establishment and dark money pro-Netanyahu PACs are doing everything they can to get folks to ignore the massive victory for the pro-Peace voting bloc in Michigan.
The media rushed to say that the “Uncommitted” vote means nothing. Really? 100,000 voters speaking out for Gaza means a great deal and has already made a major impact — we’re hearing talk of “temporary ceasefire” and must keep pushing for a permanent end to this horror.
Then AIPAC — a right-wing special interest group that supports insurrectionists and corporate Democrats that has pledged to spend $100 million in elections against pro-Peace progressives — and its allies like the Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI), joined in sending texts to try to blunt our momentum for Peace and minimize the voice of 100,000 Democratic voters.
DMFI is the group that spent millions to defeat Bernie in the 2020 Democratic presidential primary as soon as he gained momentum. The political establishment and dark money groups will do anything to silence candidates calling for Peace and the Democratic voters who want to end the war on Gaza.

Frankly, President Biden can’t afford to lose any votes from the Democratic base if he’s going to win Michigan and defeat Trump in November. Yet, this is what DMFI and AIPAC think of 100,000 people using their voice to stop the murder of tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians:
Here’s the truth: Our Revolution went all-in to turnout our progressive base to make Michigan a megaphone for Peace — and by doing so, we delivered an electoral wake-up call that the President cannot ignore.
But here’s another truth: AIPAC, DMFI, and the political establishment will go all-in to defeat the progressives who speak out for Palestinian human rights and peace in Gaza.
This is all a reminder that we must never become comfortable with an American campaign finance system where the slightest advocacy for peace or criticism of a bombing campaign killing tens of thousands of civilians leads to $100 million lined up against Peace candidates. That’s not democracy, it’s big money trying to silence the voices of peace in Congress.
We can’t lose our progressive advocates for peace in Congress as AIPAC looks to target Pramila Jayapal, AOC, Ilhan Omar, Rashida Tlaib, Summer Lee, and others. And we must elect one of our strongest Peace candidates, Barbara Lee, to the Senate on Tuesday!
