*Department of Justice Releases **Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation* [ [link removed] ]

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has announced [ [link removed]. ] the release of the Fiscal Year 2024 Coordinated Tribal Assistance Solicitation  [ [link removed] ](CTAS), which allows Tribes to submit a single application for DOJ's Tribal grant programs. Funding will be used to improve public safety, victim services, and criminal and juvenile justice in Tribal communities.

The grant programs outlined in this CTAS solicitation are referred to as purpose areas. OJJDP supports two purpose areas under CTAS: Youth Healing to Wellness Courts Program [ [link removed] ] (Purpose Area 8) and Tribal Youth Program [ [link removed] ] (Purpose Area 9). OJJDP will also support the Tribal Justice Systems Strategic Planning Program [ [link removed]. ], along with other DOJ components.

"The Office of Justice Programs is committed to working with Tribes and Tribal communities to provide a wide array of services and supports to help keep their communities safe,” said Assistant Attorney General Amy L. Solomon of OJP. “Our grants provide funding to Tribes for their juvenile justice and criminal justice systems, including providing support to victims and families, helping to strengthen Tribal court systems and enabling tribes to develop, expand or strengthen approaches along the juvenile justice continuum.”

Application submission deadlines:


* Grants.gov deadline: March 5, 2024. 
* JustGrants deadline: March 12, 2024. 

NOTE: Applicants will submit the SF-424 and the SF-LLL in Grants.gov and the FULL application including attachments in JustGrants [ [link removed] ].
