Dear John,

Exciting update on the Right to Repair Act: it has passed the Senate and will now move on to the House for a vote! This is one of our top priorities bills for the 2024 legislative session, so we need your help making sure it passes the House as well. Will you urge your Representative to vote YES on the Right to Repair Act (SB 1596)? [[link removed]]

The Right to Repair Act would give us the freedom to choose to repair our products ourselves or take them to third party repair shops all by requiring manufacturing companies to make the required information, tools, and software available for consumers to fix their items. This will be much like how we repair cars, and the result will:
- Save families money
- Reduce e-waste
- Cut pollution

The bill passed the Senate with 25 yes votes, showing massive bipartisan support! Once it passes the House, it will be signed into law by the Governor!

Please join us in advocating for the Right to Repair Act to pass the next phase, the vote at the House. Send a message to your Representative today and ask them to vote YES on the Right to Repair Act! [[link removed]]

Thank you for all that you do,

Julia DeGraw
