The most important thing you need to know is that November's elections will be critical to the future of our democracy. The GOP is poised to take back the Senate – and if they do, they'll be able to push forward their dangerous agenda. That means everything from abortion access to Social Security is on the line.

So please, will you chip in $5 before our end-of-month deadline to make sure we have the resources to defend our Senate majority?

Right now, experts are saying multiple Democratic senators are at risk of losing their seats. We have literally zero room for error. Mitch McConnell needs to flip just ONE seat to retake control of the Senate and enforce his extremist agenda. And the GOP is ALREADY targeting our most vulnerable senators.

As DSCC chair it's my responsibility to make sure that our candidates come out on top. I work night and day to do just that. But make no mistake: We aren't the heroes of that story – you are. 

We're only going to be able to stop the GOP from retaking the Senate because of an unprecedented grassroots movement, powered by folks like you. With early grassroots support from top Democrats like you, I know we can defend our Senate majority in November.

There are a massive 23 Democratic seats on the ballot. Again, we have zero room for error. We'll only be able to hang on to our majority if we win in some of the toughest states in the country: Michigan, Nevada, Montana, Ohio, the list goes on and on.

The GOP knows exactly how tough our odds are. And there's no way they're going to waste this opportunity. Last year alone they raised a record-breaking $95 MILLION to retake the majority. That makes our odds even stiffer.

I know a $5 grassroots donation might not seem like much in comparison to the millions of dollars the GOP raised last year – but if you join the hundreds of grassroots folks who've already given $5 this week, we'll have the resources it takes to fight back against the GOP's attacks on key Democrats and defend our Senate majority.
