Dear Friend,

Today is the last day of Black Futures Month, and we’re releasing a new “Your Safety is My Safety” episode featuring our Chief People and Operations Officer, Tonda.

“We live in a world that is not free from harm,” Tonda says, AND we must move through it “confidently, courageously, and in freedom.”

For many of us, safety is more of a concept than a given. But, as Tonda explains, it is something that we can build in community. We choose one another to create the safety we need for joy.

Thank you for joining us this month to celebrate Black Futures. We’ve loved dreaming, exploring, and creating joy with you through music, art, love, and prayer.

You can find all our Black Futures Month stories on our website here — including the "Your Safety is My Safety" series and Tonda’s new video.

Toward a liberated future together,

The Bend the Arc team
