The Good for Congress campaign appreciates the endorsement from Eagle Forum PAC.

Eagle Forum President Kris Ullman released the following statement:

“Representative Good is a proven advocate in Congress for conservative values and the needs of his district. Over the last four years, Good has been a strong leader on so many issues – the right to life, the Second Amendment, a secure border, and fiscal responsibility. His colleagues recognize his leadership skills and have elected him to lead the House Freedom Caucus where he continues to fight for families, faith, and Constitutional freedoms.

His challenger, who was just elected to the Virginia State Senate, is willing to abandon that position for a promotion despite the promise he made to his voters just last year when he promised to support Rep. Good’s reelection. While in the state House in 2018, John McGuire co-sponsored Virginia’s attempts to unconstitutionally ratify the Equal Rights Amendment. While we are grateful that he changed his mind and voted against this dangerous amendment when it came up for a vote, we are disappointed that he failed to realize its dangers before signing onto the bill.

Eagle Forum urges all residents of the fifth district to send a true conservative champion back to the House of Representatives. Rep. Bob Good keeps his promises and we are pleased to endorse his candidacy once again, as we did in 2022.”
