The Office Manager will support Women Winning by fulfilling responsibilities pertaining to basic accounting, office administration and organizational correspondence. The Office Manager will play an important role in fielding phone calls and email from vendors, event attendees, donors, and volunteers.

Minnesota Reproductive Freedom Caucus Proclaims 2024 Legislative Agenda

The Minnesota Reproductive Freedom Caucus (RFC) unveiled its 2024 legislative agenda, designed to protect, promote, and expand Minnesotans’ rights on reproductive healthcare on Feb. 21. Legislators from the Minnesota House and Senate were joined by reproductive healthcare advocates, healthcare providers, and allies. “We envision a future for Minnesota where everyone– without exception– can shape and realize their reproductive future and destiny,” said RFC co-chair Rep. Kaohly Her. “For themselves and with empowerment from the government, but without its interference.”

Organizers Launch Campaign for St. Paul Child Care Ballot Measure

A group of St. Paul organizers, including the newly elected “Saint Paul Seven” all-women City Council, called on voters Sunday to support a ballot initiative that would raise property taxes to pay for child care for low-income families. A dozen advocates and several of their young children gathered at Rondo Community Library to launch a campaign for the initiative, listening and cheering as their leaders spoke about the effort. "Early childhood education is one of the best investments St. Paul can make," said City Council Member Nelsie Yang. Affordable child care helps working parents, she said, and access to quality early learning will better prepare children for school.
