Ruth’s List is excited to announce our latest endorsement – Yvette Drucker, who is seeking re-election to the Boca Raton City Council! This race is an important opportunity to protect an incumbent Democratic pro-choice woman who is a key local leader in Palm Beach County.

A first-generation Cuban American, Council Member Drucker grew up in Miami and moved to Boca Raton in 2004. She was first appointed to Seat C on the Boca Raton City Council in 2020 and was subsequently elected to it in 2021. She is a passionate advocate and policy leader on transportation, regional planning, and education. She serves on the National League of Cities, and was recently appointed to the League’s 2024 Transportation and Infrastructure Services Federal Advocacy Committee – one of only six local electeds from all of Florida to earn that appointment.
But closest to her heart is her tireless activism for children and families. She has been a leader with the Junior League of Boca Raton locally and throughout Florida as Statewide Public Affairs Chair for a coalition representing 23 member Florida Leagues. For the past two years, as the sustaining advisor to the Public Affairs Committee for the Boca League, she has had the opportunity to be a mentor and teach the committee about advocacy efforts, specifically the Legislative process in Tallahassee. She is also a member of the Women in Municipal Government Committee and Hispanic Elected Local Officials.
