Hey John,

It may be untraditional, but I wanted to reach out and say thank you before we made it past our end-of-month deadline.

Here’s why: You’ve already helped us get so close to our monthly fundraising goal, and I know you will put us over the top. I’m truly grateful.

This month marked six years since the Parkland shooting, one year since the MSU shooting, and four years since Ahmaud Arbery was shot and killed in a Georgia hate crime. Also this month, the nation watched another mass shooting in Kansas City, along with dozens of other incidents that resulted in deaths and injuries of young people across the country. Each time, you donated, signed petitions and contacted your representatives.

We asked you to step up when Ron DeSantis and his cronies in Florida started to repeal the gun safety measures passed in the wake of the Parkland shooting - and you did.

Then, we celebrated together as NRA executives were finally found guilty by a jury and held liable for $5.8 million. This happened because our team, fueled by supporters like you, compiled a report of NRA wrongdoings and shared it with the NY Attorney General. All of this happened in the shortest month of the year.

I write all of this to say: We will not stop fighting to end gun violence, and we could not do it without you.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart,

Natalie
