Fun (but fundraising, too): Our Sunday, March 10, Democracy Savings Time & Pick Your Pony Straw Poll (Mustang Sally Brewing, Chantilly) is an inexpensive fundraiser that will help us do what needs to be done to win big on and before November 5.
The afternoon includes live music from Split String Soup, a local Americana and Bluegrass group; a straw poll covering the Democratic primary races in the 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th congressional districts, plus next year's gubernatorial race; and a wide selection of beers from Mustang Sally Brewing, an award-winning craft brewery in Chantilly! Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available. Oh, and Yes, John, there will be plenty of food (and fun and voting)!

Volunteers: Fairfax County has the largest concentration of Democratic voters in the Commonwealth of Virginia - we account for 1 in 5 Democratic votes in statewide elections! By volunteering with the local Democratic Party, you can help turn out these voters for the November 5 General Election. This Presidential year we can anticipate a 60 percent increase in Strong and Leaning Democratic voter turnout over last year. Don't kid yourself, John, many of this year's voters don't know that Senator Tim Kaine is on the ballot.

Join fellow Democrats at FCDC's Democracy Savings Party & Pick Your Pony Straw Poll! The afternoon features live music from Split String Soup, a local group with an eclectic fusion of Americana and Bluegrass.
FCDC's traditional straw poll includes Democratic primary races in the 7th, 8th, 10th, and 11th congressional districts, plus next year's gubernatorial race.
This is FCDC, so there will be plenty of food and a selection of award-winning beers from Mustang Sally Brewing. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
