It’s also an extra day to power our movement

Ayanna Pressley for Congress

You may already know this about me, but I like to make every moment count. A lifetime of justice-seeking is made up of individual moments, so how we use each day really does matter.

We’ve got an extra 24 hours today because of the leap year, and I don’t know about you, but I’m keeping up the fight for broad-based student debt cancellation, renewing my calls for a lasting ceasefire in Israel and Gaza, and advocating for abortion care as the fundamental human right that it is.

But make no mistake: Republicans and the far-right will also be strategizing with their extra 24 hours. They’ll spend the day trying to roll back our most fundamental freedoms. The right-wing Super PAC, AIPAC, will be looking for candidates to challenge me with the millions they’ve raised since targeting us. I’m counting on your support to help fend off their attacks.

If you’re looking for the best way to make a difference with your leap day today, please make a donation to help fight back against anyone trying to put a stop to our movement. It will make a huge difference in the critical months ahead.

If you've stored your info with ActBlue Express, we'll process your contribution instantly:

In a fight with stakes as high as these, where every voter, every dollar, and every day matters, we must use this extra day for action. This is how we deliver progress for the single parent who depends on food assistance to feed their babies. The seniors who depend on Social Security and Medicare. The recent college graduate who’s now staring down thousands of dollars in loans.

That’s why I’m asking you to chip in and turn this leap day into a leap forward for progress so we can continue to make real change.

So as we approach our end-of-month fundraising deadline, will you make your extra day count with a donation of $25 or anything you can? Whatever you’re able to contribute will help demonstrate how strong our movement is.

Yours in service,

Ayanna
