Tina recently asked supporters (like you!) to chip in a few bucks to support an organization on the front lines of the coronavirus pandemic. This grassroots team stepped up in a BIG way — raising thousands more for Meals on Wheels.

So, we’re asking again: Would you consider adding a donation of any amount you can afford to support Meals on Wheels in their effort to make sure no one goes hungry during this crisis? Thanks in advance, and keep reading below for Tina’s message.

Friends,

I reached out to you a few days ago asking you to donate to an organization working on the frontlines of this public health emergency. Your response was incredible!

Together, we raised thousands of dollars for one of the nation’s largest hunger-relief organizations in the country.

But as the coronavirus pandemic deepens, so many people are facing unprecedented hardships — especially our seniors. That’s why Meals on Wheels is working around the clock to ensure they don’t go hungry during this crisis.

So, I’m emailing you with the hope that you’d be willing to support another great cause at such a critical moment. I need your help to make sure Meals on Wheels can collect as many resources as it will take to keep seniors safe and make sure they’re getting the nutrition they need amid COVID-19.

Our nation’s most vulnerable need our help. If you have anything to spare, can I count on you to add a donation to Meals on Wheels today? Your donation would help ensure this organization has the resources to keep our seniors safe and nourished during this public health crisis. [[link removed]]

We all have a role to play in slowing the spread of the coronavirus. As you know, I’m doing everything I can in the Senate to support workers and seniors during this crisis. I’m asking you to do the same.

But please, only give if you can afford to do so. I know these are difficult times for many of us, so if your family is facing financial hardship, it’s okay to sit this one out. I appreciate you opening this email in the first place and taking a minute to read my message. It means the world to me.

Thank you. Take care of yourself and your loved ones.

— Tina
