I was on the Lawrence O’Donnell show last night talking about the critical Michigan Presidential primary.

Michigan has historically been a swing state, and having an early primary means that Michigan sets the tone for the rest of the country. That’s why Trump’s victory last night is so serious. He’s gaining momentum and is one step closer to clinching the Republican nomination. It’s very likely now that voters will see another match-up between Biden and Trump this November.

This is one of the most challenging times to serve in elected office – a country rife with political divisions, Congressional dysfunction due to Republican incompetence, and extreme attacks on fundamental constitutional freedoms. These are all problems exacerbated by Trump’s presidency. We can’t allow him to serve another term and lead us further into chaos.

I can’t overstate how critical the Presidential primary results are, and the Trump-Biden contrast could not be clearer.
