From a healthcare system that doesn't care for everyone, to an economy without a sufficient safety net that fails to meet basic needs in a crisis, our lack of investment in people is now more obvious than ever. The current administration's lies about the COVID-19 pandemic are shameful, reckless and will cost people their lives.
This crisis has made one thing abundantly clear: we need honest leaders who prioritize people. You, and my son, and your kids and all of us:people -- that’s why I got in this race in the first place. I’ve never strayed from placing people over profits, and I never will. If we allow president Voldemort to remain unchecked and corporate-bankrolled Joni Ernst to remain in the Senate, people like you and me will never be a priority.
