Nearly 7 million women and children rely on WIC for healthy food, nutrition information, breastfeeding support and other resources; the program serves nearly half of all babies born in our country. Additionally, over 41 million people on average receive monthly SNAP benefits, and many kids rely on meals at school for food each day.
That means that the longer a shutdown lasts, the more devastating its impacts could become on the health of kids nationwide.
No Kid Hungry is working every day to end childhood hunger, and our mission is as critical as ever right now. That’s why we’re counting on you to step up for kids struggling with empty bellies in a moment when they need support the most:
Please, rush a donation right away to fuel our work so we can continue to advocate for children and the end to childhood hunger. Just $1 can help provide 10 meals, so any amount you can give will make a difference.
