John, In life, what’s most important to me is my family. Being Stephanie’s husband and Ben and Belle’s dad keeps me going and motivates me to strive for a better future.
I had to include this photo collage I made of my son Ben to celebrate his 16th birthday and getting his driver's license earlier this month! 🚙 🎉 My children, especially, are a big reason why I’m running for Congress. It’s because of them that I refuse to stand by while their future is in the hands of extremist politicians in Congress like David Schweikert, who are more focused on delivering for their corporate donors rather than our children. So much is at stake in this election, and Arizonans can’t afford to be represented by a climate denier who’s focused on taking away reproductive rights and doing whatever Donald Trump tells him to do. It’s time for new leaders who understand the threats we’re up against and have the experience to make this better future a reality. I understand the issues that matter most to you and your family because they are the same ones that are important to mine. We want a future where our children won’t have to worry about gun violence, a changing climate, attacks on our democracy, and rising costs.
