John, it's official: The California Senate primary is less than a week away. This is our moment — and I need to know that you will stand with me.

I'm so proud of this campaign and the movement we've built together. We've proven to the Democratic Party and all who are watching that it is far past time we elect a senator who stands unequivocally for peace, progress and change – someone who will never be bullied by the powerful and who will finally center the voices of Black women in the Senate.

It's been the honor of a lifetime to be that candidate – your candidate. 

Now, it's time to show the country the strength of this campaign. That's why I'm humbly asking you to endorse my campaign for U.S. Senate to show a united force in these final days before the primary.

John, it's clear: The American people are sick of watching politicians go back on their word time and time again. But I'm proud to say that I have never been afraid to do what's right, even when it was politically unpopular. 

In the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks, I stood alone as the sole member of Congress to vote against the Authorization for Use of Military Force in 2001, which gave President Bush nearly unlimited authority to wage endless war in Afghanistan. And in the two decades since, I have continued to fight for progress, even in the face of fierce opposition. 

Now, I'm ready to take that fight for progress to the U.S. Senate, but I really need your help pushing through these final days before the primary election. This race is going to remain tight until the very last polls close — and this is your last chance to officially join my campaign. So please:
