John — On January 3, 2023, Republicans took control of the House of Representatives. Since then, legislative progress has stalled and political chaos has grown.

Despite the challenges, Dwight, President Biden's administration, and Democrats in Congress have made strides forward for the American people.

Dwight has remained focused on supporting the best interests of Philadelphians. In 2023 alone, Philadelphia received over $16 million for 14 community projects for jobs, affordable housing, mental health support, and access to fresh and healthy food because of Dwight's advocacy. And thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act, the Infrastructure and Jobs Act, and the Biden–Harris Agenda, Philly is seeing new investments, and the American economy is steadily improving.

But Republican leadership in the House continues to be a disaster. We have witnessed constant political infighting, a vacated speakership, several near shutdowns (with more imminent!), and attacks on reproductive rights, critical public spending, and our democratic institutions.
