John,

I want to thank you for being part of our grassroots team.

As the daughter of a teacher and a newspaperman and the granddaughter of an iron ore miner, I truly mean it when I say my work in the Senate wouldn’t be possible without people like you.

That’s because no one expected me to run for elected office -- and not a lot of people expected me to win either. But thanks to our grassroots team I beat the odds and was elected to the U.S. Senate.

Now I’m counting on you to stick with me because I’ll be on the ballot this November. Will you donate now to help us hit our February fundraising goal?

Your grassroots support has helped me accomplish a lot in the Senate. I led the effort to take on Big Pharma and end the ban on Medicare negotiating lower prescription drug prices. I also secured critical funding to expand broadband in rural areas.

But there’s still much more we can do to make Americans’ lives better. I’m hoping you’ll donate today to power my reelection campaign so we can build on the progress we’ve made.

The end-of-month deadline is tomorrow at midnight. It’s crucial that we hit our fundraising goals now to ensure we have the resources to run the strongest campaign possible in the fall.

November may seem far off. But the truth is Election Day will be here before we know it. So please: Will you make a quick donation to my reelection campaign?

Thank you. Our grassroots team has never let me down.
