As Blue Dogs in Congress, we believe it’s time to move past the politics of extremism and division.
We face many systemic challenges that threaten our future prosperity and security as a country. That includes traditional threats from enemies at home and abroad, an out-of-balance trade deficit, and a tax code that is rigged for those at the top.
People are feeling cynical about the role of government, and for good reason. The political establishment does not seem to care about the issues people are facing every day and too often those issues are going completely ignored. We have to change that by electing leaders who put the people they represent over their political agendas.
Blue Dogs are normal people in Congress who want to get sh*t done. We believe in freedom and we’re fighting to protect yours. We’re pro-America, pro-democracy, and working to pass fiscally responsible policies that benefit everyday, hard-working Americans.
