Before we tell you more, Congresswoman Delia Ramirez is running a people-powered campaign to build on the positive change she's brought on in our community. Ahead of our End of Month Fundraising Deadline, will you chip in toward the $4,438 we have left to raise online to meet our goal?

John, we're not usually ones to go looking for red flags, but these are too big to ignore: 

 

🚩 He's an election denier: When asked about it, he makes it crystal clear he doesn't believe President Biden won the 2020 election, a blatant show of commitment to Trump. 

 

🚩 He's anti-safety: Our opponent is avidly against common-sense gun violence prevention measures like a law requiring background checks on all gun sales or a ban on military-style weapons. 

 

🚩 He aligns himself with anti-choice extremism: Our opponent is a member of the same party that is unrelenting in their attacks on access to reproductive care, contraception, and IVF – who knows what he else might stand behind to prove his party loyalty?

Delia Ramirez

Delia Ramirez has dedicated her life and career to public service and advocating for working families. She is a deeply rooted community leader and public servant whose values are informed by her upbringing as the daughter of Guatemalan immigrants.

In 2022, Delia was elected to represent Illinois’ 3rd Congressional District and became the first Latina Congresswoman in the Midwest. In just a few months in Congress, she has introduced legislation with bipartisan support to help student veterans, is co-leading the Dream and Promise Act, and is introducing legislation that gives tenants the right to organize. She serves as Vice Ranking Member of the Homeland Security Committee, and sits on the Veterans’ Affairs Committee. She is also a Board Member of the Congressional Progressive Caucus (CPC) PAC, and CPC Special Order Hour Convener.

Delia also serves as Co-Chair of the Strengthening Democracy Task Force, as well as Vice Chair of the Equal Rights Amendment Caucus. She is a fighter who is determined to deliver for her constituents, and is working everyday to achieve equitable distribution of resources for Illinois infrastructure, clean energy, transportation, housing, healthcare, and jobs. She also advocates for federal resources so that Illinois may continue to be a welcoming state for new arrivals and asylum seekers.
