Just moments ago, Mitch McConnell announced he is stepping down as Republican leader in the Senate this November.

This is a big deal: For more than 15 years, McConnell has worked to sabotage both President Obama and Biden’s agenda as the Senate GOP leader.

He will be remembered for trying to overturn the Affordable Care Act, installing Trump’s handpicked justices to a lifetime appointment on the Supreme Court, and steamrolling the GOP’s extreme agenda through the Senate.

It’s time we turn the page on his politics.
