Fight for $15
**************************
John,
Victory! 10,000+ Starbucks baristas at nearly 400 stores fought for this moment for two and a half years.
Yesterday, Starbucks committed to working with Starbucks Workers United to create:
* Collective bargaining agreements for unionized stores and partners
* A fair organizing process for all not-yet-unionized workers
* The end of all litigation, including Starbucks’ lawsuit against us over our logo
To celebrate and dive deeper into this incredible victory, we'd like to invite you to join us for a mass call TONIGHT (Wednesday) at 8pm ET / 5pm PT -- you can register here. [[link removed]]
One BIG part of this step forward is that ALL unionized baristas (including myself!) will now have access to the wage and benefit improvements announced back in May 2022, including credit card tipping.
This is a show of good faith from Starbucks and it fills workers like me with hope and knowledge that our fight has been worth it! As Starbucks workers we've always been clear: Starbucks calls us Partners, and we want to be just that. Now we'll truly have the chance.
This moment wouldn't have been possible without the courage of the thousands of workers who have joined together, spoken out, voted for their union and gone on strike over the last two years. Now, the real work begins!
We still have a lot of work left to do and we'll never stop until we have a fair, good contract in our hands. Join us tonight to celebrate this incredible victory >> [[link removed]]
