ADL established the Courage Against Hate Award to recognize courageous and visionary leaders from the private sector who are dedicated to fighting hate for good, boldly use their personal and professional brands to that end and inspire others to actively work to make the world a better place.

Since the Hamas terrorist attacks on 10/7, she has voiced strong support for those in Israel and in Gaza who have suffered and lost. As a company, Accenture is donating millions of dollars to relief efforts for civilians in Israel and Gaza during this conflict and is also matching employee donations to charitable relief organizations.

Sweet has publicly proclaimed Accenture’s zero tolerance for antisemitism, Islamophobia, xenophobia and hate speech of any kind. She guided the corporation to sign ADL’s Workplace Pledge to Fight Antisemitism.

ADL is pleased to recognize Sweet at Never Is Now, where she will be presented with the award by previous Courage Against Hate honoree Albert Bourla, Chairman and CEO of Pfizer. Bourla was honored by ADL for his company’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which was a powerful and lifesaving example of Pfizer’s capabilities and culture under his leadership and for the courage he displayed by speaking out against misinformation and disinformation campaigns aimed at undermining public confidence in the vaccine.

Other past honorees include: Tim Cook, CEO, Apple; Hamdi Ulukaya, CEO and Founder, Chobani; Kenneth C. Frazier, Executive Chairman of Merck’s Board of Directors and Jean-Paul Agon, Chairman, L’Oreal. The award honors visionary leaders who promote understanding and unity in a complex world and exemplify ADL’s core values, including courage, collaboration, inclusion and integrity.

We hope you’ll join us, as well as community leaders, students, academics, philanthropists and business leaders from across the globe for this year’s event. Connect, learn and engage along with our unmatched lineup of 100+ speakers and 25+ sessions to combat the ever-present challenges of antisemitism and hate.

Please register today at neverisnow.org and join us in New York on March 6-7 to show up, speak out and take action.
