The primary election is next Tuesday, March 5! Texans have been voting for more than a week.
With so much going on during this final stretch before Election Day on March 5—and because our #TX07 campaign is particularly fond of the number seven—we’re setting a seven-day primary goal to raise $7,000. [[link removed]]
As campaign treasurer, I know how important it is to have the funds to pay the bills. With an election just days away, there are a lot of them. Whether it’s keeping our TV ads on the air, putting mail in people’s mailboxes, or printing literature to hand out at the doors and the polls, effective campaigning is expensive.
And it matters. Lizzie has an aggressive primary challenger, and we can take nothing for granted. We’ve seen misinformation and disinformation about Lizzie in campaigns before, so we know it takes resources to fight back.
And that’s what we are doing. #TeamLizzie is hard at work knocking on doors and making phone calls and getting the word out to as many voters in our district as possible in every way possible.
There’s no other way to say it: Financial contributions are what makes that possible.
