Raw Farm Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*February 16, 2024 - *Raw Farm of Fresno, CA,? was contacted by the FDA and CDC regarding the epidemiological possibility that Raw Farm raw cheddar cheese might have caused some illnesses within a date range of October 18th 2023 and January 31 2024. During this period, there were ten fecal samples collected from patients in 4 states that appeared to match one another in the National PULSENET database. Some of these patients did not report consumption of any Raw Farm cheddar cheese or other raw dairy products. In full cooperation and collaboration with the CDC and FDA, Raw Farm is voluntarily recalling the above date codes of Raw Cheddar Cheese. If you have any of these Raw Cheddar Cheese date codes, please do not consume and return for credit.

Affected Product: ONLY Cheese block older than batch 20231113-1 and Shred older than 20240116

*February 17, 2024 -* Nordic Naturals. of Watsonville, CA,?is voluntarily recalling one lot of Nordic Naturals Baby?s Vitamin D3 Liquid, 0.76 fl. oz. (22.5 mL), 400 IU (10mcg) D3. This recall is being conducted due to a manufacturing error that resulted in an elevated level of Vitamin D3 dosage or super potent dose. The affected lot number is 234909, with an expiration date of December 2025.

G.A. Mart Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*February 22, 2024 - *G.A. Mart dba H&Natural, of San Luis, AZ, is voluntarily recalling 2 lots of H&NATURAL TejoRoot, 10g pills and 2 lots of H&NATURAL Brazil Seed, .167g Seeds to the consumer level. The products have been found via random FDA testing to contain yellow oleander, a poisonous plant native to Mexico and Central America.

Risk Statement: Ingestion of yellow oleander can cause neurologic, gastrointestinal and cardiovascular adverse health effects that may be severe, or even fatal. Symptoms may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, diarrhea, abdominal pain, cardiac changes, dysrhythmia and more.

LQNN, Inc. Issues Allergy Alert [ [link removed] ]

*February 23, 2024 - *LQNN Inc., of Garden Grove, CA, is voluntarily recalling Banh Ba Xa and varieties of Banh Pia because they may contain undeclared egg. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to eggs run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume these products.

The affected products are packaged in various colors of foil bags, with the lot number or best by date printed on the front of the bag. The affected Banh Pia products are under the brand Saigon Gourmet, and all affected products are manufactured by Tan Hue Vien.?

Backstage Center Issues Recall [ [link removed] ]

*February 23, 2024 - *Backstage Center of Los Angeles, CA,? is issuing a recall of approximately 280 Bottles of Alipotec Raiz de Tejocote, dietary supplements, that are labeled with the "Alipotec King" sticker. This recall is being initiated because FDA analysis found that the product contains toxic yellow oleander.

Consumers should immediately discontinue use of the product. Customers can visit [link removed] for instructions on how to process the return of the recalled product.

Public Health Alert for Nurture Life Ready-To-Eat Chicken Meal Product [ [link removed] ]

*February 27, 2024 - *The U.S. Department of Agriculture?s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for Nurture Life?s Chicken Parm with Super Veggie Spaghetti meal products due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen. The product?s spaghetti component contains egg white, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label.?FSIS is issuing this public health alert to ensure that consumers with an allergy to egg are aware that this product should not be consumed. A recall was not requested because the affected product is no longer available for purchase.
