John,
Yesterday in Michigan, we defied expectations and scored a major upset in the state’s Democratic presidential primary!
Over 100,000 people voted Uncommitted to send President Biden a clear message: The US government’s unconditional support of Netanyahu's war in Gaza must stop. In Dearborn — home to one of the country’s largest Arab-American populations — “Uncommitted” even defeated Biden with 56% of the vote.
Here’s how this happened: Our Revolution mobilized our organizers to call, text and email our 87,000 supporters in Michigan — and nearly half of those we spoke with pledged to vote “Uncommitted” to amplify our collective voice for Peace in this moment.
Bottom line: Our Revolution went all-in to turn-out our progressive base to make Michigan a megaphone for Peace — and by doing so, we delivered an electoral wake-up call that the President cannot ignore. The results in Michigan show that in order for Democrats to defeat Donald Trump in November, Biden must realign his foreign policy with the demands of his voter base and stop ignoring the progressive Pro-Peace voting bloc that is emerging to challenge him on Gaza.
While we’ve won, our work is not yet done. We have to keep up the pressure on President Biden. We have to ramp up our GOTV efforts ahead of next Tuesday to send another message for Peace by getting out the vote in the California primary for Barbara Lee, the only Peace candidate in the California U.S. Senate primary. And we must gear up to defend against AIPAC’s $100,000,000 in attack ads aimed at progressives for speaking out for Palestinian human rights.
Can you contribute right now to help us refuel for the progressive fights ahead? We need your grassroots support NOW to elect Barbara Lee, combat AIPAC attack ads, and keep fighting for Peace. Help us reach our goal to raise $6,327 before the end of this month!

U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal offered advice to President Biden as the “Uncommitted” vote came in last night: “The war on Gaza is a deep moral issue and the lack of attention and empathy for this perspective from the administration is breaking apart the fragile coalition we built to elect Joe Biden in 2020.”
Former Rep. Andy Levin spoke of the people power of Our Revolution, who came together with our allies to lift “Uncommitted” to over 100,000 votes in under three weeks of organizing.
Our next chance to vote for Peace is on Tuesday, the last day of voting for Barbara Lee in California’s U.S. Senate primary. The other Democrats are busy spending money boosting Republicans in the race because they’re afraid to face Barbara and her message of Peace.
And we’ve got to defend Progressive champions like Rashida Tlaib, Pramila Jayapal, and Ilhan Omar — who have bravely spoken out against Israeli war crimes in Gaza — from AIPAC’s Dark Money attacks.
John, we need to be prepared for the progressive fights ahead this election year. We know AIPAC, the political establishment, and the war machine won’t stop. But we also know our movement can defeat big money and the political machine with your help.
Chip in towards our $6,327 end of month goal to help us refuel for the progressive fights ahead.
When we organize, we win.
