Footage shows Frankenchickens—birds bred to grow monstrously large and unnaturally fast. These fragile birds experienced the horrors of live-shackle slaughter. They were hastily hung upside down by their legs, some suffering dislocated joints. Others were conscious as their throats were slit.

Chipotle has failed to share how they will keep their promise to ban Frankenchickens and live-shackle slaughter by 2024.

It's time for Chipotle to be transparent about their animal welfare progress. It's time they published a roadmap for fulfilling their commitment to chickens.
