Public Notice: The Skyline Improvement and Service District, Teton County, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:30 P.M. local time, on March 14, 2024

NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

The Skyline Improvement and Service District, Teton County, Wyoming, will conduct a public meeting at 5:30 P.M. local time, on March 14, 2024, at the Mountain Property Management conference room located at 250 Veronica Lane, Jackson, WY. Virtual attendance is available by Zoom at: https://us04web.zoom.us/join, ID: 301 092 4055. The purpose of the meeting is to allow citizens to review and comment on the Skyline ISD Water Supply and Storage System Improvements Project. The project includes the equipping of three wells with VFDs where operation of two wells can meet peak hour demand with the largest well out of service to meet DEQ regulations, meters on each well to meet SEO regulations, new electrical service and backup power to power the larger pumps, new control system to operate pumps, new transmission piping at hydropneumatic tank to allow operation of VFDs, repairs to the hydropneumatic tank and building, and a sodium hypochlorite disinfection system to comply with DEQ regulations.


At the meeting, the Skyline ISD will present the preliminary design of the proposed project and will discuss the estimated cost of the improvements and the plan for funding the improvements. A preliminary plan of improvements, cost estimates, and the funding plan can also be accessed for review on the Skyline ISD website (https://www.skylineranchisd.com/water), or at the office of Mountain Property Management, 250 Veronica Lane, Jackson, WY. Based on current cost estimates, the Skyline ISD plans to borrow $955,000 from the Wyoming Drinking Water State Revolving Loan Fund administered by the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments. A special assessment will repay the loan. The assessment is estimated to be at maximum $618.05/lot/year to repay the loan, based on loan terms of 1.5% interest and 20 years.
