John,

Planned Parenthood loves to shroud abortion in vague terms like "choice," "reproductive rights," and "bodily autonomy"...

...because when people consider what abortion is and what an unborn child is, they reject abortion.

An upset-looking mother and daughter approached the 40 Days for Life vigil in Pittsburgh and looked at a fetal model display that prayer warriors set up on the sidewalk.

"Our volunteer thought they were angry," reported Nikki, the local leader. "When they walked up to the fetal display, our volunteer went over to make sure they weren't planning to knock it over."

As that vigil participant approached the two women, she saw that they weren't scowling; the younger of the two was weeping.

"It turns out her mother was encouraging her to abort, but she did not feel right about it," Nikki said. "She was very conflicted. Maggie was able to assure her and encourage her…and the woman changed her mind and chose life!"

Vigil participants offered the mom resources to help equip her in her life decision, which she accepted.

"Prayers continue that she stays strong in her decision," Nikki added. "She is in an abusive relationship and was hoping the abortion would help her get free."

But only the truth can set us free. Thank God this mom learned the truth about what her unborn baby looks like through the 40 Days for Life team's fetal model display!

Bronx, New York

The Bronx 40 Days for Life campaign welcomed new first-time participants to the vigil in spite of frigid temperatures.

Sol, the campaign leader said she stayed warm by "praying with the fire of God."

Those braving the cold weather saw first-hand how peaceful, prayerful presence awakens consciences when a woman who accompanied a friend to the abortion facility refused to stay in the building.

"She became very uncomfortable and eventually came out and waited for her friend to leave," wrote Sol. "She could've stayed inside but decided to leave...and continued to stare at us as we prayed. It was a successful vigil day."

In the Granite State, campaign volunteers heard a powerful testimony from Lori, who was told to abort her two sons because of a Duchenne muscular dystrophy diagnosis.

While medical professionals warned Lori that her boys wouldn't survive childhood, they're now in their upper 20s and leading vibrant lives in their church and in their community.

"There's always hope, dignity, and value in all stages of human life, the easy parts AND THE HARD PARTS!" wrote Norm, the Manchester campaign leader.

--John 2:5

Lord Jesus, you have used water for wine and mud to make a blind man see. Please use me as your instrument on earth. Let others feel your compassion when I encounter them. Let your work be done through my hands. Please let me especially care for mothers and their unborn children with the faith that always desires to lead people to your side.

For life,
