10 Times as Many Teachers Say Trans, CRT Lessons Hurt Rather Than Help Schools |
by Ben Johnson |
A new survey reveals a cavernous gap between teachers' unions and the views of most parents, teenagers, and teachers on whether public schools should teach LGBT ideology to students - and whether parents should have the right to opt their children out of those classes. While elite teachers' unions such as the National Education Association (NEA) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) believe schools should teach sexual orientation and gender identity (SOGI) classes to children, their customers - parents and students - disagree, as do many of their members, according to a series of new polls released last week. |

Alabama Supreme Court Sparks Controversy after Ruling Embryos Are Human Beings |
by Sarah Holliday |
Taking advantage of the confusion over whether the Alabama ruling prohibits IVF, on Wednesday, Senator Tammy Duckworth (D-Ill.) will ask that S.3612, the so-called Access to Family Building Act, be considered for passage under unanimous consent. (If no senator objects, the bill would pass without a vote.) The bill would ostensibly "establish a federal right to access IVF and other assisted reproductive technology services nationwide," The Washington Post reported. But Quena Gonzalez, FRC's senior director of Government Affairs, told TWS that a bill making IVF a "federal right" is too vague and could pose threats to other rights. |

The '-Ocracy' Confusion on the Left |
by Joshua Arnold |
The secular Left has picked up a new hammer, so everything is a nail. "Theocracy" is the new catchphrase. "Theocracy" is the new bogeyman in the closet. "Theocracy" is the new codeword for elites seeking to communicate their superiority to those Bible-thumping deplorables. But, in their quest to find theocracy everywhere, our elites have forgotten what theocracy looks like, to the very point of mimicking what they despise. |

Attacks in West Bank Highlight Futility of Two-State Solution: Expert |
by Sarah Holliday |
Last week, an Israeli civilian was killed and several were left wounded after a Palestinian terrorist shot at cars around the Maale Adumim settlement. In response to the attack, Israel's finance minister, Bezalel Smotrich, announced that over 3,000 housing units would be built in the West Bank, also known by their biblical names of Judea and Samaria. This decision, however, seems to have sparked further controversy. |

Pro-Life Women Physicians Show a Path Forward for Life |
by Rob Schwarzwalder |
Much is made, and rightly so, of the 19th century suffragettes who worked to obtain the right to vote for women and other things we now take for granted. What is usually unreported is that such women as Susan B. Anthony and Victoria Woodhull were also adamantly against abortion. They were joined by a now-largely unnoticed cadre of women physicians, courageous pioneers in the field of medicine whose allegiance to the cause of life merits greater attention. |
