Welcome to The Agenda (yeah - THAT agenda), your weekly update on what's happening in the LGBTQ political world. Whatever you do, don’t forward it to Mike Pence. He doesn't need to know what we're planning! Forward it to a friend instead.

Overview: A brand new endorsement slate, COVID's continuing impact and more!
COVID-19 CAMPAIGN IMPACT
Disclaimer: the situation around the COVID-19 pandemic remains in flux and the below represents a small sample of available information. We urge you to follow the advice of official sources like the CDC, WHO and your local health officials for pertinent health information and medical updates.
Game Changer candidate Ritchie Torres tested positive for COVID-19 and is urging people to connect with loved ones. If you’re able to do so, please stay home, and no matter what, be safe!
During the COVID-19 pandemic, some people cannot self-isolate. But Spotlight candidate Kim Jackson is working to change that. Exactly the type of representation the Georgia state Senate needs!
Spotlight candidate Charmaine McGuffey is working to unseat the Ohio Sheriff that wrongly fired her. Now Ohioans just need to mail in their ballots!
18 NEW LGBTQ CANDIDATES
Great news – we just endorsed 18 new LGBTQ candidates for the 2020 cycle!
Meet our newest Game Changer candidate, Marko Liias, who just launched his campaign for Washington’s Lieutenant Governor. We’re his first national endorsement!
We also updated Minnesota state Senate candidate Davin Sokup to a Spotlight endorsement. When he wins, Davin will be the first trans man ever elected to a state legislature in the United States!
Our new candidates are also adapting to life online. Madeline Eden is fighting to win Texas House District 17 and you can join her for a town hall TONIGHT to hear her plans!

CANDIDATE SPOTLIGHT: GINA ORTIZ JONES

WHAT WE'RE READING
In another bigoted move, the Trump Administration is supporting an anti-trans lawsuit filed by a hate group.
We asked Spotlight candidate Brett Burman about his plans to be the first openly LGBTQ state Senator in Pennsylvania. Check out his answers here!
There’s only space in Floridian politics for one Chad: Chad Klitzman. Learn about his quest to win the Broward County Supervisor of Elections seat here!
Game Changer candidate John Blair just released a brand new ad highlighting how he'll be on-call for all New Mexicans. Give it a watch!

Paid for by the LGBTQ Victory Fund and not authorized by any candidate or candidate's committee.

LGBTQ Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win elections up and down the ballot, from sea to shining sea since our founding in 1991. We believe representation is power – so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
