# [#]Help me send a clear message: We’re ready to elect leaders who will take charge and deliver real solutions for Americans. We need to put leadership over political theater.

We’re $4,759 away from our end-of-month goal, and the clock is ticking. Will you pitch in $ right now please? We need real leadership in Washington now more than ever. [[link removed]]If you've stored your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will process immediately.

Extreme Republicans in Washington are prioritizing political theater over the pressing needs of the American people. Just look at the latest sham impeachment trial which was a blatant attempt to hide their incompetence as legislators.

And unfortunately the state of Texas is no different. We have Greg Abbott putting all of his energy into a failed school voucher program, while Texas schools are about to lose $300 million in special education funding. He needs to focus on governing our state rather than trying to position himself to run for vice-president.

We have to demand better. We can’t allow these extreme Republicans to engage in distractions that do nothing to improve the lives of everyday Americans.

Your support could make a difference in this fight for a more responsive government. Will you rush a donation right now? [[link removed]]
