Former President Donald Trump allegedly pocketed at least $7.8 million from 20 foreign governments during his time in office!
Last month, House Democrats on the Oversight committee exposed Trump’s foreign funding schemes in a damning 156-page report. His actions reflect a glaring violation of the Constitution’s emoluments clause: another instance where Trump has violated the Constitution.
Join us and call on the Senate to investigate the foreign funds Trump received while in office and require him to forfeit any unconstitutional payments.
The violations in the House report might be just the tip of the iceberg: the transactions in the report are from only four of Trump’s 500+ business entities — he likely received even more money illegally while in office. House Republicans on the Oversight Committee conveniently failed to complete a comprehensive investigation into this matter, meaning only a fraction of Trump’s illicit transactions have been examined.
It’s now up to Chair of the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Senator Gary Peters (D-MI), to complete an exhaustive and complete investigation into this matter.
