John —
What does it mean to be the only elected Democrat in northwest Iowa?
It means a lot of things: I see issues differently, I have some different priorities, and I can't carpool to Des Moines with my Democratic colleagues. But, even though I'm the only elected Democrat in our part of the state, I'm not alone.
Our grassroots movement is full of Sioux City Democrats who fight every day for hard-working Iowans and who help me fight to build a better Iowa. I know they have my back, and they know that I have theirs.
I may be the only elected Democrat out here, but I'm not alone because this community is fighting by my side. This November will be our greatest test yet. Governor Reynolds and her extremist allies are tired of me holding their feet to the fire every time they try to screw over Iowans.
We've got to work harder and organize like never before in order to keep up our fight for Iowans. Will you chip in $11 to jumpstart the fight for Democratic values in our state?

In 2022, Governor Reynolds won this district by a massive +10 point margin, so our race to re-election is starting with an uphill climb.
But I've seen just how powerful our movement is when we come together and stand up for what's right.
That's why I'm counting on you, John, to chip in and help us get off the ground. Donate $11 today and make sure we have the resources to keep organizing and fighting for our friends and neighbors here in Iowa.

I've never known an Iowan to back down from a challenge, so let's get to work.
Stand Tall for All,
J.D.
