AAF had a busy weekend with friends! We gathered some of our favorite DC comrades to talk about all of the good trouble happening this year, and tabled during the DC Indie Film Fest’s screening of No One Asked You, the documentary that has followed AAF’s work for the better part of a decade! BONUS: our friend Renee Bracey Sherman, founder of We Testify [[link removed]] , joined AAF founder Lizz Winstead and No One Asked You director Ruth Leitman! WE LOVE YOU DC- CAN’T WAIT TO BE BACK SOON!

We also love abortion providers, and it just so happens that Abortion Provider Appreciation Day is coming up next month! Our friends at Amplify Georgia Collaborative [[link removed]] are collecting love notes for Georgia abortion providers, and you bet your ass we’re gonna roll up our sleeves and absolutely shower providers in good vibes. MARYLAND: 7TH IN STATEHOOD, FIRST IN OUR HEARTS
Have we mentioned that they don’t make it easy to learn how to provide abortions? Thankfully, Maryland is stepping up their game, with the University of Maryland receiving $10 million dollars to invest in and expand their abortion training program! We’re going to need all of the other universities to take note, okay?
