Trump Announces Kelly Tshibaka as Alaska State Campaign Chair and Key Endorsements Ahead of Alaska Primary
Ahead of Alaska’s Republican Presidential Preference Poll (PPP) from 3-8pm on March 5th, former President Donald Trump announced endorsements from
Governor Mike Dunleavy, Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom, candidate for U.S. Congress Nick Begich, and Kelly Tshibaka, the host of the podcast, TV and radio show STAND, who is serving as the 2024 Alaska State Chair for President Trump’s campaign.
In August 2023, Politico reported, "Alaska Gov. Mike Dunleavy is endorsing Donald Trump, giving the former president the support of a governor whose state is expected to hold its nominating contest on the all-important ‘Super Tuesday’ primary date," the publication reported.
Lt. Governor Nancy Dahlstrom, running for U.S. House, endorsed President Trump ahead of Alaska’s primary PPP, saying, "President Trump delivered for Alaska and allowed us to unlock our own potential. His leadership and commitment to an America first agenda brought unprecedented growth and opportunity to our country. I’m proud to support him and ready to work with him to take back our country from Joe Biden and the Democrats who have done so much to hurt our nation."
In December 2023, Nick Begich, also running for U.S. House, announced his endorsement for Trump via social media: "Mary Peltola has endorsed Joe Biden for another failed term," Begich wrote. "After reviewing Trump’s record on Alaska, it’s clear: Donald Trump has been the most pro-Alaska president in our lifetimes. Alaska’s economy has been rated dead last in the nation, and it’s because of Joe Biden’s record of standing against our state, against our people, and against the development of our resources. In this election, the choice is obvious. We stand with Trump and see generational prosperity or we continue down a road with Joe Biden that leads to generational poverty."
Kelly Tshibaka ran as the Republican nominee for U.S. Senate in 2022 against Lisa Murkowski. She now co-hosts STAND with her husband, Niki Tshibaka, which is dedicated to making courage contagious. "President Trump boldly stands for freedom, truth, and government led by the People of America. He alone inspires confidence that we can restore hope, unity, and prosperity after the destruction caused by Joe Biden and the Left over these past 4 years."
President Trump recently called into the Republican Women of Fairbanks’ Lincoln Day Dinner and spoke to the crowd via the cell phone of Gov. Mike Dunleavy, who was in attendance at the Westmark Hotel gala.
Over 30 current US senators, innumerable current and former US House members, and 10 other state governors have endorsed Trump, including Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, Texas Governor Greg Abbott, North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
