As Bethany’s Finance Director, I’m reaching out to ask you to chip in to our campaign’s February fundraising goal – but first I’d like to tell you a little more about our campaign and give you the inside scoop on Bethany.
Here’s a photo of me and President Biden at the Biden HQ opening in Wilmington!
When I joined Team Bethany, I noticed right away just how committed Bethany is to the well-being of every single person in Delaware. I’ll tell you a story to show you what I mean:
At the second campaign fundraiser I attended with Bethany, a young woman who was working at the event venue had a seizure, falling and hitting her head. Through the commotion, Bethany immediately stopped what she was doing, rushing into the kitchen to provide medical care until the ambulance arrived.
That’s exactly the kind of person Bethany is: she is selflessly devoted to the people she serves. I guarantee you that this isn’t a story Bethany will tell about herself, but I’ve seen firsthand how seriously she takes her job as a public servant, healthcare professional, and leader.
And in order to elect her in November as the nation’s first nurse governor, this campaign will need resources for canvassing, lawn signs, advertising, and more. Getting out the word is key to building support for Bethany: recent polls show that when voters learn about Bethany’s work, they are more than twice as likely to support her over her opponent.
