Here are some recent updates.
* New York Democrats introduced ([link removed]) new congressional districts that only slightly differ from the commission-drawn maps that were rejected yesterday. The new map offers Democrats a slight advantage compared to the current districts.
* A Nevada judge ruled ([link removed]) that a proposed ballot measure to create voter ID requirements in the state can move forward, rejecting a lawsuit that alleged the measure was unconstitutionally vague and deceptive.
* The 8th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals unpaused ([link removed]) a case challenging an Arkansas law that restricts the number of times an individual can assist voters. Arkansas Republicans are arguing that voters cannot sue to enforce part of the Voting Rights Act protecting voter assistance.
* Delaware Attorney General Kathy Jennings (D) announced ([link removed]) she will appeal a decision striking down laws allowing for a permanent absentee voting list and 10 days of early voting to the state Supreme Court, saying that the "lawsuit was wrong on its merits and politically extreme on its face."
