Every morning, I sit down with my coffee and compare our fundraising numbers against our monthly projections.

It's a bit of a ritual for me. The coffee helps me start my morning off right, and as the caffeine slowly kicks in the numbers start making more sense.

The good news: Our daily grassroots raise has gone up relative to January, and my new French press brews a mean cup of joe.

The bad news: Because February is a short month, we only have 2 days left to hit our goal.
