My opponent just announced she’s going to self-fund her campaign. 

This is a big deal. It means she can write herself a big check. It means she can accept unlimited amounts of cash from her right wing Republican donors that have already pumped tens of thousands of dollars into her account. 

But it also means there are no more contribution limits for either of us. 

Can I count on you to make a contribution today to make it clear that Cook County won’t go back to the bad old days of wrongful convictions and coerced confessions that Cook County used to be known for?

My opponent has shown that she will do whatever it takes, including accepting scores of Republican money, to spread dishonest attacks, and to make sure that voters are distracted from her disturbing history of wrongfully convicting a 11-year-old Black child of murder.
