Dear Friend,

URGE: Unite for Reproductive & Gender Equity is proud to launch the Young People’s Reproductive Justice Policy Agenda (the Policy Agenda), a grassroots policy agenda with three main components:

- A policy landscape analysis
- A comprehensive stakeholder process
- Integration of ideas and priorities created for and by young people.

Using a reproductive justice framework, the Policy Agenda establishes a blueprint to help young people achieve liberation and justice.  Included within the Policy Agenda are recommendations to improve abortion access, queer-and trans-inclusive sex education, economic and racial justice, immigrant justice, climate justice, LGBTQIA+ liberation, and sex work decriminalization, among others.

Every week, we will send folks an update on one of the 6 main sections of the Young People’s Reproductive Justice Policy Agenda. Additionally, the  URGE Policy team is debuting This Week In Policy, an Instagram Live Series in which we  break down federal and state policy to explore how it impacts your life.

In solidarity,

Preston Mitchum (He/Him)

Director of Policy
