I consider myself very lucky that my district, Michigan’s 11th Congressional District, had one of the top ten levels of voter turnout in the entire nation last election.
Turnout is decisive in swing districts like mine. In 2016, President Donald Trump carried it by four points. In 2018, thanks to the support of so many of you, we pulled ahead in a district that is historically Republican.
Our ability to boost turnout numbers, train volunteers, print campaign literature, and organize locally depends on supporters like you. Hitting these monthly goals keeps us on track to overcome the advantage my Republican opponent has in a former Trump district.
We still need to bring in $13,394 before our FEC end-of-quarter deadline at the end of the month. So with only a few days left, can I ask you to make a donation of whatever you can spare?
With you by my side, I know that we can encourage record-levels of turnout in our district, stand up for what’s right, and continue to improve our democracy one day at a time.
Me and my team are working as hard as we can: If you would like to support our work, then I’m humbly asking if you could spare a donation today.
Thank you,
Haley
