John,
One thing I think we can all agree on is that we need more affordable housing.
We need folks who work in our communities — our teachers, our firefighters and first responders, our hospitality workers — to be able to afford to live here.
But instead of coming up with a real solution to the affordability crisis, the GOP supermajority in Tallahassee is poised to vote on another bad bill.
The last thing we need to be doing is incentivizing big developers to demolish our historic buildings through neglect, but the Tallahassee power grab that lets developers neglect a building until it’s so dangerous that it meets the criteria to be taken over is back. And it’s moving fast.
We’re tired of Tallahassee coming up with ways to preempt local residents. We need a leader who will protect local control — that’s why I’m running.
I’m ready to make OUR voices heard in Tallahassee and flip HD 106. If you’re with me, can you click here to rush a $10 donation?
