John,
It’s no secret that the Trudeau Liberals have not been particularly “tough on crime”.
In fact, since Trudeau was elected in 2015, crime has skyrocketed across the country.
But suddenly, the Trudeau Liberals are serious about crime!
After making it easier to release criminals on bail…
After allowing more than 600,000 illegals to enter our country and remain in it…
And after persecuting peaceful gun owners while letting criminal gangs roam free…
They are now introducing sweeping amendments to the Criminal Code, but it’s not what you might expect.
No, the Liberals are not trying to stop violent crime and rising car thefts.
Their focus is on thought crimes and censorship!
Trudeau’s Online Harm Act (aka Bill C-63) includes fines of up to $70,000 for online “hate” speech and life imprisonment for “hate” crimes.
The issue with this is, of course, how do you define “hate”?
We’ve seen concepts like hate speech weaponized by Big Tech platforms to silence or cancel dissidents — I’m sure many of you receiving this email have experienced this.
We’ve seen Trudeau fund and use the Orwellian-named Canadian Anti-Hate Network to delegitimize dissidents and enable his tyranny.
We’ve seen the Trudeau government freeze bank accounts and take political prisoners.
Canadians can see right through this. Trudeau’s actions speak louder than his words.
We know they don’t care about crime. What they care about is silencing speech.
Ahead of a crucial election, Trudeau is introducing unprecedented censorship laws to control the conversation online and try to stay in power.
Canadians must send a clear message to Trudeau and reject this!
This is the behaviour of tinpot dictators, not democratic leaders.
