 It’s bad enough that people in Alabama are now banned from using IVF to conceive a child. But it gets even worse: 125 House Republicans have sponsored legislation that would ban IVF in every state in the country. I’m going to fight hard to make sure they don’t succeed. And more than that, I’m going to work to restore the reproductive rights and freedoms that have been under attack ever since Roe v. Wade was overturned. And I’m asking you to join me. Will you sign your name next to mine and call on Congress to restore IVF access?
I’ve been clear about this from Day One: your reproductive health care decisions are between you, your family, and your doctor. Politicians have no place telling anyone how, whether, and when to start a family — and it’s disturbing that so many of my colleagues in Congress are attempting to legislate a role for themselves in those deeply personal decisions.
