Yesterday, Rob joined a bipartisan coalition of attorneys general and the
Federal Trade Commission (FTC) to file a lawsuit to stop the $24.6 billion
merger between Kroger and Albertsons.

Consumers would get a rotten deal if the two largest supermarket chains in
the country are allowed to merge into one: the reduced competition would
mean fewer choices and higher prices for shoppers. In some Southern
California communities, it could become the ONLY one-stop grocery store
option.

Not only will it harm consumers, but it could leave workers with less
employment opportunities and worse working conditions, and create negative
impacts for farmers.

Rob is fighting this corporate consolidation to protect families and
workers across California: [ [link removed]- ]Will you let him know you have his back by
making a grassroots donation of $5 or more before Thursday’s
fundraising deadline?
