Dear John,
Tomorrow, PRH Fellow Dr. Leilah Zahedi Spung—a Maternal Fetal Medicine and Complex Family Planning physician—will join experts at a U.S. Senate hearing about the severe and far-reaching consequences of restricting access to abortion care on patients and providers.
Dr. Zahedi Spung will share her experience working in post-Dobbs Tennessee and her difficult decision to relocate to Colorado. She’ll call on lawmakers to understand the mounting hardships and increased costs facing people seeking abortion and why this life-saving, essential care must be available throughout pregnancy.
