Hi John, it's Ted Terry.

My First Term Report was just released, and I'm so proud of everything my team and I were able to accomplish.

We tackled housing insecurity, climate change, discrimination, and public safety – all with success we can see, hear and feel in DeKalb. I'm ready to continue serving to keep the progress coming in our county.

John, I'm constantly thinking about what I can do to make progress in DeKalb, but it starts with winning my race this year. Down below I've got a more in-depth look at my report, but if you can't say to read the whole thing: Can you chip in to support my people-first campaign and help us raise $3,044 to reach our upcoming End of Month Fundraising Goal?

Over the last 3 years, Super District 6 has changed rapidly, and I like to think my progressive agenda has been able to take it to the next level. Here are some year-by-year highlights:

🏘️🚯 In 2021: I transformed our county's housing development when we rolled out our first zoning modifications that allowed us to introduce affordable housing plans to the area. We also committed DeKalb to 100% clean energy by 2050, forming the "Green Policy Committee" and implementing plans to earn recognition for sustainable infrastructure (which we achieved this year!).

🚲🌳 In 2022: Then, we acted on those plans by pouring our resources into pedestrian friendly infrastructure and sustainable urban spaces across the county. This included regenerative landscaping policies, conserved green space, urban farming initiatives, and switching to electric equipment.

🏡🚎💵 And in 2023: We raised our county minimum wage to a living wage, we executed the DeKalb Green New Deal (which came with 20 new Green policies, millions in funding, and new basis for resilience in our community), and we made housing more affordable than ever with new zoning and the creation of the Eviction Legal Defense Fund!

I have even more plans for 2024 and beyond, but I have to get re-elected first. My next End of Month Fundraising Goal is just around the corner, and I'm still $3,044 away from reaching it – can you chip in to support my campaign today?

Thank you,
Ted Terry
