We’re hiring our next executive leadership
|
Dear Friend,
As many of you have heard by now, Corporate Accountability Executive Director Patti Lynn will be transitioning out of her role by the end of this calendar year. She’s transitioning at a time when the organization is in a strong place for the next person or people to step into the leadership role.
To that end, I’m excited to share with you the position announcement for our next executive director or co-director pair.
For the past several months, the leadership transition committee, under the guidance of our transition consultant, Strategies for Social Change, has led Corporate Accouuntabilty’s board and staff in the process of assessing, reflecting, and visioning. This committed and skilled group of staff and board members have developed an inspiring description of our next leader or leadership team. I’m grateful for all of our staff and community who have helped shape this vision of leadership, one that will usher Corporate Accountability into a vibrant future.

This person or pair will be visionary, strategic, confident, and practical. They’ll work effectively alongside our dedicated staff, donors and members, grassroots partners, and other allies to direct organizational strategy, develop campaigns, and build organizational culture. They’ll be able to hold their own against CEOs and other representatives of transnational corporate power.
And, they’ll lead the organization to joyfully seize this historical moment of profound opportunity, organizing gracefully within the broader, global progressive movement toward a transformative future rooted in justice, love, and liberation.
With anticipation, I look forward to supporting and working with this new leader or leadership team to advance our shared work to hold corporations accountable for their deadly abuses. And, I’m grateful for the staff who, during this transition period, continue to wage our fierce and successful campaigns that challenge abusive, racist, and dangerous corporations threatening people and the planet.
You can help us find our next leadership by sharing and circulating this position announcement. We are counting on Corporate Accountability’s global community to spread the word and help us identify the next person or pair who will lead this organization.
Thank you for spreading the word about this search far and wide across the progressive movement. I look forward to updating you on the transition process in the months ahead.
